Making Yule Logs

UUFNN held its annual Yule Log Ceremony on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Fellowship. Children of all ages participated during their religious education classes. They each made a log to take home and made extras for other members in the church to have logs for their homes as well. The event was a phenomenal success as members Carole Chouinard and Rebecca Parker led the charge. Sundry volunteers helped and were integral in whipping up the paraffin wax used to attach everything - the acorns, candles, dried leaves, et cetera - on the logs. Carole hopes the event will continue every year.
